Terms of use.

Provider and scope

InFlight is provided by Alec Schneider Solutions, Inhaber: Alec Peter Schneider, Pappelallee 25, 10437 Berlin, Germany. These terms supplement the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement for copies distributed through Apple. Mandatory consumer rights and Apple's applicable terms remain unaffected.

InFlight is an informational companion. It is not an aircraft instrument and must not be used for navigation, flight operations, safety decisions, or emergency information.

Availability and accuracy

Data comes from third-party onboard systems and may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. Airline, aircraft, route, and Wi‑Fi compatibility can change without notice.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and follow all crew instructions, airline policies, and device restrictions. Do not interfere with aircraft networks or attempt to access systems beyond the data endpoints used by the app.

License and intellectual property

Subject to these terms and the Apple license terms, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app on supported Apple devices you own or control. The app, its design, software, branding, and original content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or distribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Subscriptions and complimentary use

The app may offer limited complimentary use and optional auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscriptions. The purchase screen displays the subscription name, duration, included service, and full localized price before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation. A subscription renews for the same duration unless it is canceled through your Apple Account subscription settings before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in Apple's subscription settings and restore eligible purchases from the app.

Any free trial, introductory offer, or discount applies only when it is expressly shown on Apple's purchase screen. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its rules. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights concerning defective digital products.

Third-party services

InFlight depends on Apple services and airline or connectivity-provider systems. Their own terms may apply. We do not control those third-party systems and cannot guarantee their continued availability.

Changes and termination

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including for security, compatibility, legal, or third-party-service reasons. Material changes to these terms apply prospectively after the updated terms are published. You may stop using and delete the app at any time. We may restrict use for material abuse of the service or aircraft networks, subject to applicable law.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraudulent concealment, guarantees, and liability required by mandatory law. For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the foreseeable loss typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. These limits do not reduce mandatory consumer remedies.

Applicable law

German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Statutory rules determine the competent courts.
